The Name

CherishedNeuroticObscenity... It's a random mix of words, isn't it? Well, there's a story behind it, so pull up a chair...
My closest friend, Josh, started up the "misfit acronyms". He'd take the initials from his closest friends' names and tack on words. Like his was J.A.F., so we call him Just Another Freak. My initials are C.N.O., so we created CherishedNeuroticObscenity from it. Since this is a long, long name, I sometimes use CheNeuObs for short. Once I learn JavaScript, be expecting a Misfit Acronym Generator. ;)

The Inspiration

I've been doing this web designing stuff since I was 12 or 13. That's four or five years of this crap! xD I have NO life. Anyway, yeah, I had a website on Freewebs a long time ago. It was just a personal website, like this one is. But, as time went on (and I got better at using PSP) I expanded my knowledge of HTML and CSS. Now I plan on being another one of those resourceful sites where you can get goodies for MySpace and such. ^_^ You know, with time, of course.

The Layouts

This layout, which I have dubbed "Lifeless Gray", doesn't really have a story. I just have a tendency for morbid things and a picture of a dead tree while I was browsing the 'net sparked my interest. So I used this wonderful picture by Chop-Stock and used several techniques to come up with this image. I'm quite proud of it, though it seems a bit busy, and I thank Chop-Stock immensely for being so kind. ^_^
